Exemptions for Childhood Immunizations

Childhood immunizations are widely used and cost effective.  States face increased resistance to these immunizations, based on medical, religious and philosophical or personal reasons.  Several states have considered legislation to add or expand exemption policies, even though unvaccinated children risk contracting and spreading vaccine-preventable diseases.
