Current Partnerships

You can support the important work of the NCSL Foundation as a member of a public-private partnership. Steering committees include legislators, key legislative staff, and private sector sponsors. You must be a Foundation sponsor in order to participate.

Jobs & Innovation Partnership

Man and Woman reviewing computer screenThrough this partnership, lawmakers will have a unique opportunity to work directly with job creators to identify what it takes to create and retain jobs. By facilitating candid discussions between state policymakers and industry leaders, this project will develop practical solutions that can then be implemented. Although Washington is mired in political gridlock, state lawmakers continue to demonstrate that they are willing and able to enact innovate public policy. NCSL’s new Jobs Partnership is an important step in that direction.

Hunger Partnership

Bag of foodThe NCSL Foundation invites sponsors to join state legislators and key legislative staff in launching a one-year initiative to raise the visibility of hunger in America and offer innovative and lasting solutions. The goal of this 12-month initiative is to connect the public and private sectors to improve the availability of healthy food for hungry families. The Hunger Partnership will link legislators, legislative staff, and interested private sector partners to identify innovative and successful programs, and it will develop bipartisan, balanced, and concise materials and mechanisms to support legislators in their efforts to reduce hunger in America.
