Bryan Thomas serves as the chief communications officer, guiding NCSL’s brand, media, website, design, content and member outreach work alongside the fabulous communications team. Thomas joined NCSL after leading communications teams at a series of organizations including the City of Atlanta, Habitat for Humanity International, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the U.S. House of Representatives, and the U.S. Senate. He holds a Master of Public Policy from Georgetown University, and a bachelor’s degree in international political economy and a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of California, Berkeley. He lives in Atlanta with his wife, Eva, an epidemiologist at the CDC, and their daughter, Annie.
