NCSL's Forecast '24 Meeting in Austin, Texas, Offers a Glimpse into Trending Legislative Topics for 2024

Health Care, Workforce, Technology and Fiscal: Top Trending Policy Issues at NCSL Forecast ’24

WASHINGTON, D.C.—The National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) will host NCSL Forecast ’24, bringing together industry-leading experts, legislators and legislative staff over three days. The meeting will facilitate in-depth discussions on the significant policy challenges anticipated for legislators in the upcoming legislative session.

NCSL Forecast ’24 is expected to engage state legislators and policymakers from across 50 states and territories. This year, NCSL will share an exclusive sneak peek into trending issues ranging from health care to workforce, technology to fiscal—all against the backdrop of a pivotal election year in 2024.

Attendees can expect to gain a deep understanding of the trending legislative issues and will hear from a variety of nationally recognized speakers. Topics featured during the conference include:
