Most young professionals (YPs) are ambitious, enthusiastic and want to make a difference at work, but many struggle with how to do that the right way – without appearing grabby, impatient and unappreciative. Career coach Betty Lochner will speak on the generational gap in the work place and how YPs can get what they want while respecting generational differences.

Ms. Lochner specializes in performance coaching, interpersonal skills, leadership training, and conflict strategies. She is an experienced professional who has been teaching leadership and communication skills to agencies and organizations for years. She earned her B.A. in Communications and a M.Ed. from Western Washington University. She is also a professional certified trainer in performance coaching. She recently authored her first book Dancing with Strangers: Communication Skills for Transforming Your Life at Work and Home.
