Washington, D.C.—William T. Pound, National Conference of State Legislatures executive director, released the following statement about the $1.1 trillion federal spending bill.
“State legislatures around the country appreciate congressional leaders for coming to a bipartisan funding agreement which creates greater certainty in state–federal fiscal relations," Pound said. "This spending bill provides a bottom line number and will help state leaders as they begin looking at their own budgetary needs.”
