NCSL Supports Adoption of the TAKE IT DOWN Act

NCSL supports the bipartisan TAKE IT DOWN Act to combat the growing threat of nonconsensual intimate imagery, including AI-generated deepfakes. This legislation complements state efforts by ensuring swift removal of such content and providing critical protections for victims. We urge the House to pass this bill and reinforce the bipartisan commitment to digital privacy dignity and justice.
