The National Conference of State Legislatures is committed to hosting a successful meeting for all participants—legislators, legislative staff, Foundation sponsors, private sector attendees, government representatives, exhibitors, speakers, volunteers, international attendees, NCSL staff members, service providers and guests. NCSL will not tolerate harassment or unacceptable behavior of any type at the conference. Unacceptable behavior includes but is not limited to: harassment, intimidation, or discrimination in any form; physical or verbal abuse; disruption of presentations at sessions or meeting events; inappropriate verbal comments; inappropriate use of images in meeting spaces or in presentations; and threatening or stalking any participant.
If you experience harassment or hear of any incidents of harassment or unacceptable behavior, we ask that you contact Chief Operating Officer Victor Vialpando-Nunez or Human Resources Director Kazia Washington so that appropriate action can be taken.
NCSL reserves the right to take any action deemed necessary and appropriate in response to any incident of harassment or unacceptable behavior, including, but not limited to, immediate removal from the meeting without warning or refund. NCSL also reserves the right to prohibit attendance at any future meeting.
