Vic Fischer, the last surviving signer of the Alaska constitution and a former senator in the Alaska Legislature, died Sunday, Oct. 23, at age 99.

North Dakota Sen. Doug Larsen, his wife and two children died when the plane he was piloting crashed shortly after takeoff from Moab, Utah, on Monday.
