In recent years several states have expanded access to professional licenses for immigrants. Some are limited to Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipients, some are focused on work-authorized immigrants and some other states allow unauthorized immigrants to apply. This webinar examines why states are taking these actions, challenges in passing legislation and results of these actions.
