NCSL’s Task Force on Innovations in State Health Systems explores the issues and opportunities faced by state policymakers as they reform their state health systems.
The task force, which consists of legislators and legislative staff from across the country selected by NCSL leadership, meets two to three times per year to discuss state policy innovations.
This report highlights various innovations and strategies discussed by task force members during meetings in 2017. They are not meant to provide recommendations, but rather examples of state actions.
