Hybrid Plan Designs in State and Local Pensions
Friday, June 26, 2015
State and local budget constraints have prompted policymakers across the country to take a closer look at alternative ways to design retirement plans for public employees. Much of the debate has focused on the differences between defined benefit and defined contribution plans, but some states and municipalities have adopted one of several hybrid plan designs that combine features of both. This webinar provides an overview of hybrid plan designs in the states and discusses related policy issues.
