Confronting the Opioid Crisis at the State Level

Opioid addiction is a growing concern across the United States, where it’s estimated that 52 people die of prescription opioid overdoses every day. Several states have taken steps to prevent opioid and heroin addiction and expand recovery and treatment options for those suffering from it. During this webinar, state officials will share their experiences with combating opioid addiction. The webinar will be moderated by Mandy Rafool of NCSL and Christine Vestal, author of a Stateline series on the issue.

  • Representative John Nygren, Wisconsin
