This webpage hosts the resources from the 2020 NCSL Roundtable on Evaluating Economic Development Tax Incentives, held Oct. 27-28, 2020. The event focused on state economic development tax incentive evaluations and provided evaluators the opportunity to share tips and strategies with one another. Given the significant impacts of COVID-19 on state economies and the resulting actions at the federal and state levels, approximately half of the programming was dedicated to recession-related topics and the effects of the downturn on incentive evaluation.
The 2020 NCSL Roundtable on Evaluating Economic Development Tax Incentives was made possible through the generous support of The Pew Charitable Trusts.
