Meeting Purpose
The 2011 Midwest Environmental Health Policy Summit brought together legislators, regulators, and environmental health experts to discuss a wide-range of environmental health issues facing states in the Midwest. Topics that were examined include environmental health in schools, state public health laboratories, radon’s links to lung cancer, state implementation of a federal renovation and remodeling rule to reduce childhood lead poisoning, and indoor air environments.
