The Westin Crystal City, Arlington, VA.The Nuclear Energy Tribal Working Group (NETWG) will meet Jan. 21-23, 2019 in Arlington, Va. at the Westin Crystal City Hotel, 1800 Jefferson David Highway, Arlington, Va. 

NETWG is a chartered working group, focused on engaging tribal governments interested in the broad spectrum of the Department of Energy (DOE) nuclear energy activities. NETWG explores such topics as nuclear research and development, small module reactors, stakeholder outreach, STEM education, emergency response and planning activities and potential economic business opportunities.

There are no fees to register. However, registration is required. This meeting is by Invitation only. NCSL and DOE reserve the right to accept registrations submitted by invited guests only.

A block of rooms has been reserved at a conference rate of $139 single/double occupancy plus applicable tax. NCSL will make hotel reservations for NETWG members.

To reserve your hotel room please email/call Gretchenn DuBois, 303-856-1390 with your meeting arrival and departure dates, before the Dec. 28, 2018, deadline.

Federal employees who require a government rate will need to contact the hotel directly to make room reservations.

If arranging hotel accommodations by phone, please indicate that you are attending the NCSL conference to receive the negotiated rate per night.

Reagan National Airport (DCA), 2401 S. Smith Blvd., Arlington, VA 22202 is 1.4 miles from the hotel.  

Please make your travel arrangements to Arlington, Va. by Dec. 28, 2018. Travel booked through Christopherson will be directly billed to NCSL. Travel booked after this time will require prior approval by NCSL.

Ground Transportation

Shuttle: The Westin Crystal City has a free shuttle available for overnight guests. Upon arrival go to Terminal B Departure level and depart from Door 3. The shuttle runs approximately every 30 minutes.

Taxi: From Terminal A, proceed out the exit doors at baggage claim and turn right. The taxis are located on the curb closest to the Terminal. From Terminals B and C, proceed to the baggage claim lower level (level one). Walk indoors to Door 5, exit the doors to the curbside. You will find the taxi dispatch location clearly marked.

Ride Share: After you land and grab your bags, open your app to find your pickup zone. Head's up—you'll be directed to the "two-lane loading" zones across from the terminal.
