Meeting Overview

The Nuclear Energy Tribal Working Group (NETWG) held its first quarter meeting virtually on Jan. 19, 2021. NETWG is a chartered working group, focused on engaging tribal governments interested in the broad spectrum of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) nuclear energy activities.

This meeting brought together ­­­­­­­­­­­­NETWG members with the DOE Office of Nuclear Energy, DOE Office of Legacy Management and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC). NCSL provides staff support to this group through a cooperative agreement with the DOE.
