NCSL’s comprehensive education bill tracking database includes enacted legislation for topics including teachers and principals, school choice, postsecondary education, education finance/funding, religion in schools, high school graduation and dropouts, testing, accountability, afterschool and STEM.   

COVID-19: Education Bill Tracking Database, 2020

This interactive database tracks 2020 education legislation in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. 2021 legislation can be found by visiting the State Action on Coronavirus page.

School Safety Bill Tracking and Database, 2018-Present

This interactive database follows bills related to student loan debt issues including, loan forgiveness, oversight, taxes, and licensure.
