|
The Governor's office is in the capitol.

State Treasurer, Secretary of State and the State Auditor are in the Capitol.

Alaska
|
The Governor and Lt. Governor are located in Alaska’s Capitol.

Arizona
|
The Governor is located in an office building adjacent to the legislative buildings.

Arkansas
|
The Governor's office is in the capitol.

6 of the constitutional officers have their offices in the Capitol. Governor, Lt. Governor, Secretary of State, Treasure, Auditor and Land Commissioner. The Attorney General office is in the Tower Building downtown.

California
|
Governor and Lieutenant Governor are both on the first floor, annex side, of the Capitol. These are permanent. Historic Governor’s office is located in the Capitol.

Other constitutional officers are in their own buildings around the Capitol—Education, State, Treasury, Justice, etc.
|
Colorado
|
The Governor is in the Capitol on the first floor.
|

Connecticut
|
The Governor's office is in the capitol.
|
The only constitutional officers having offices in the Capitol, are the Governor, Lt. Governor and the Secretary of State.

|

Florida
|
The Governor's office is in the capitol.

In addition to the Governor, the following officials also have permanent offices located in the Capitol: Lt. Governor, Attorney General, Chief Financial Officer, and Commissioner of Agriculture. Additionally, within each of the assigned office areas for these officials, there are offices provided for permanent staff working for each of the officials.

Georgia
|
The Governor's office is in the capitol.

Executive office of the Secretary of State is in the capitol. All other SOS offices are at 2 MLK Jr. Dr. S.E.

Hawaii
|
The Governor has a suite of offices (working/private; ceremonial; conference areas, etc.) in the Capitol. Only the Governor and Lt. Governor have offices in the Capitol. Offices include working, private, ceremonial, and conference rooms on the fifth floor. The Governor also has an office on the fourth floor for public information and communications.

Illinois
|
The Governor's ceremonial office is in the capitol.

Secretary of State has an office in the capitol.

Indiana
|
The Governor's office is in the State House.

Iowa
|
The Governor has a formal, ceremonial office on the first floor of the capitol, which is connected to his working offices in the basement by a hidden spiral staircase.
|
In Iowa, in addition to the Governor, Lt. Governor, and their staff; the Auditor, Treasurer, and Secretary of State have their offices and a handful of key staff in the Capitol. The rest of their staff is located in other Capitol Complex office buildings. The State Law Library is also located in the Iowa Capitol Building. The rest of the Capitol is occupied by Legislative leadership and legislative staff.

Kansas
|
The Governor's office is in the capitol.

The Governor and Lit. Governor have offices and staff in the Kansas Capitol. All other constitutional officers are located in surrounding buildings.

Kentucky
|
The Governor's office is in the capitol.
|
The first or executive floor of the capitol, includes the offices of the governor, lieutenant governor, secretary of state and the attorney general.

Louisiana
|
The Governor's office is in the capitol.

Maine
|
Only the Governor and his permanent staff have offices in the Capitol Building.

Maryland
|
The Governor's Office is on the second floor of the State House. The Lt. Governor has her office there, as well. These are in the old part of the building, completed in 1779 and all the Governors since have occupied these offices.

Massachusetts
|
The Governor's office is in the statehouse.
|
|
Michigan
|
The governor has offices in Lansing, Detroit, Marquette and Washington D.C. In Lansing, the governor works mainly in the George W. Romney Building but also conducts meetings in the newly restored Michigan Capitol.

Attorney General has offices in the G. Mennen Williams Building & in Detroit, Escanaba, Grand Rapids, and Petoskey.

Minnesota
|
Governor’s office is in the Capitol building and this is a working office with permanent staff.

In Nevada we have a Capitol Complex, the Complex consists of three buildings The state Capitol, the Legislature, and the Supreme Court.
The State Capitol houses 5 of the constitutional officers Governor, Lt. Governor, Secretary of State, State Treasurer, State Controller.
The Lt. Governor also has an office in the Legislative building that he occupies during the Legislative Sessions.
The Attorney General's office is located across the street from the Capitol Complex.

The Governor has some offices in the Capitol (his, the First Lady's, appointments and legislative offices) and others in an office building adjacent to the Capitol.

The Governor, Lt. Governor, and Secretary of State have functional offices in the capitol as well as some additional offices in neighboring buildings. All other statewide elected officials have offices in neighboring buildings.

Vermont
|
The Governor maintains a ceremonial office in the Statehouse, but main office is next door.

The Lt. Governor has an office in the State House. No other Constitutional officers have offices in the State House.

Virginia
|
The Governor maintains a small office suite for some staff and a largely ceremonial office suite on the third floor of the original Capitol. The primary office of the Governor and of his Cabinet, since 2005, is on the third floor of the Patrick Henry Executive Office Building, located just northeast of the Capitol.

Washington
|
The Governor and part of his/her staff are normally located in the Legislative Building (capitol building). The rest are located in the nearby Insurance Building.

West Virginia
|
The Governor's office is in the capitol.

The State Capitol Building houses the "working" offices of the Governor and all constitutional officers. Permanent staff are located within these offices. This would include both Houses of the WV Legislature and staff as well as the WV Supreme Court and staff.
