Documents Produced by State Legislative Staff and Agencies Win Awards
Chicago–Twelve outstanding documents on topics ranging from fine art and history of state legislatures to firefighter exposure and health were honored by the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) during its 42st annual Legislative Summit in Chicago.
The Notable Documents Awards are presented annually by the Legislative Research Librarians staff section. The award recognizes excellence in documents that explore topics of interest to legislators and staff, and present substantive material in an outstanding format. For purposes of the award, a "document" is one produced by a federal, state or local government. Eligible formats include print and electronic publications, periodicals, serials or websites.
