WASHINGTON, D.C.— The National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) relaunched the Scope of Practice Policy Resource Center under a new name and home: Scope of Practice Policy. Created in 2017, this revamped website continues to serve as a vital resource for tracking changes in state laws related to scope of practice requirements for health professionals.
The website now offers 23 interactive maps covering a wide range of policy areas, including practice and prescriptive authority, as well as supervision requirements. These enhancements make it easier for users to access objective, nonpartisan information on scope of practice laws across all 50 states, Washington, D.C., and the territories.
