LOUISVILLE, Ky. — As the National Conference of State Legislatures approaches its 50th anniversary, the 2024 NCSL Legislative Summit, held in Louisville, Ky., Aug. 5-7, continues to be the premier event for and the largest bipartisan gathering of legislators and legislative staff. Attendees will have access to many sessions focusing on the states' hottest topics of 2024, including artificial intelligence, economic forecast, transportation, workforce development, childcare, housing availability and more.
Reflective of its national membership, NCSL's Legislative Summit is held in a different city each year. This year's Summit is projected to generate more than $4.8 million in economic activity in Louisville with over 5,000 attendees.
All meetings held in conjunction with NCSL's Legislative Summit are open to the press. Registration is required, but free to credentialed members of the media and limited to no more than two passes per requesting entity. Online registration is open; on-site registration is available for media, starting Sunday, Aug. 4, at noon, at the Kentucky International Convention Center.
