Legislators and legislative staff to come together in Tampa to tackle states’ most pressing policy issues in a post-pandemic world
Denver—More than 100 in-depth sessions covering education, redistricting, infrastructure, workforce modernization, and school leadership and more will take place at the annual National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) Legislative Summit, Nov. 3 – 5, in Tampa, Fla.
The NCSL Legislative Summit is the nation’s premier bipartisan gathering of state legislatures, providing a platform for legislators and legislative staff to lay policy groundwork for their state’s next legislative session.
Attendees at the 46th annual Legislative Summit will hear from a variety of speakers, including:
- Vernice “Fly Girl” Armour, America’s first Black female combat pilot and former U.S. Marine Corps captain.
- John Medina, developmental molecular biologist and author of The New York Times bestseller “Brain Rules.”
- Dan White, director of government consulting and fiscal policy research for Moody’s Analytics.
- Dr. Nirav R. Shah, senior scholar at Stanford University’s Clinical Excellence Research Center.

All meetings held in conjunction with NCSL’s Legislative Summit are open to the press. Registration is required, but free to credentialed members of the media.
