25 States Expect to Exceed Their Forecasted Revenues for FY 2022

Washington, D.C. — Revenue collections across the states are strong, with 25 states expected to exceed their forecasted revenues and 17 states on track to meet general fund revenue projections for the current fiscal year.

The fiscal brief “FY 2022 State Budget Update,” from the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL), is a summary based on results of an NCSL survey of legislative fiscal offices completed primarily in December and January.
