Why did you choose to work at the Legislature?

I needed a job while attending college. I began learning about the process and the effects of government on our daily lives and I loved it.

What skill or talent are you most proud of?

The ability to know and utilize the rules and implement them instantly when necessary.

What’s the best advice you were ever given?

Be prepared for the unknown by gauging what can occur.

Who or what inspires you?

My entire family. They are all very different in many ways, but their tenacity and positivity inspire me to press forward, no matter what obstacles I come across.

What are you currently reading/listening to/watching?

The U.S. House speaker election process. I also love watching documentaries regarding history or finances. I have been binging on shows involving Black history.
