National Asian Pacific American Caucus of State Legislators Health Resources

The National Asian Pacific American Caucus of State Legislators (NAPACSL) Health, Human Services and Housing Committee focuses on addressing issues around health equity and disparities exacerbated by COVID-19, cancer and chronic disease in Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities and the need for an increase of AAPIs in clinical trials. NAPACSL also focuses on data disaggregation and the impacts of anti-Asian bias on health.

National Caucus of Native American State Legislators Health Resources

The National Caucus of Native American State Legislators (NCNASL) Health and Human Services Committee focuses on general health, wellness and mental health for American Indians, Alaska Natives and Native Hawaiians. NCNASL focuses on health disparities and the disproportionate high death rates among Native Americans from COVID-19. The decline in Native American life expectancy since 2019 resulted from COVID-19 deaths as well as increased mortality from several chronic diseases.
