States and insurance commissioners continue to develop a shared vision of insurance regulatory reform to meet the needs of the modern marketplace while preserving the advantages of the state system. State legislators perform a crucial role in the development of insurance public policy.

Mission Statement

The mission of the NCSL Insurance Task Force is to engage members in policy discussions, educate members and extend networking opportunities to legislative leaders on insurance issues through a series of well-defined programs, webinars on key definitions and critical policy issues.
