Come to this workshop to learn how to lead productive discussions with your constituents, target key groups to help you make policy decisions, use technology to reach more people and find partners to help you in your outreach work.  The trainers will share their best practices and help you create an action plan to help you connect with your constituents.

Meet with colleagues from other state legislatures to discuss different methods and strategies used to connect with constituents. An overview of this workshop will be provided, including information about NCSL’s partnership with the Kettering Foundation on constituent engagement.

Running Your Own District Dialogue

Are you interested in convening a constituent meeting, but not quite sure where to begin? Participate in former State Representative Ted Celeste’s (OH) “district dialogue” meeting and learn how to organize a meeting that produces constructive constituent conversations.
