The recession has shown that there are no one-size-fits all approach to creating jobs and spurring economic development. In fact, it is quite difficult to be successful in one element without involving the other. This session will explore strategies aimed at creating jobs with limited resources.

Tax expenditures offer tools aimed at creating and retaining jobs. How well are they performing and what actions are states now taking with tax expenditures?
Sunset commissions review the core operations of state agencies, setting a termination date unless the legislature reauthorizes agency functions. Learn more about the sunset process at this informative session.
