State Sovereignty and Nullification Legislation
The tension between the roles of the federal government and the states has been ongoing since before the creation of our country. Over the years, states legislatures have introduced bills and resolutions addressing various aspects of 10th amendment state sovereignty. Given the recent surge in national attention toward federalism and state sovereignty issues, NCSL has begun tracking these measures in the states.
