Join conference attendees on a picturesque ride through Seattle. The 11th annual Bipartisan Bike Ride, to be held on Thursday, Aug. 6 at 6:15 a.m., is an excellent opportunity to chat with fellow riders and see the sights of the city at a leisurely 10 mph.
All skill levels and ages are welcome to join this guided ride. Bikes and helmets are provided, as well as breakfast snacks and drinks. You must register to participate in this ride. Preference is given to state lawmakers, their families and legislative staff in that order.
Thanks to the American Heart Association, American Society of Civil Engineers, General Mills, Walmart, People for Bikes and Primal Wear for sponsoring the Bipartisan Bike Ride! This ride is a joint partnership of NCSL, BikeTexas and Washington Bikes.
The starting location is Westlake Park at Fourth Avenue and Pine Street. It is three and a half blocks west of the Washington State Convention Center.
Online registration for the ride is now closed. If you are a legislator, please email Douglas Shinkle as we can typically continue to accommodate legislators on the ride.
