The National Legislative Services and Security Association hosts the only national training event designed exclusively for legislative staff who work in the areas of capitol security, administrative services and tourism management.

The 2022 NLSSA Annual Training Conference will be held Aug. 21-25, 2022, in Boston. This seminar offers professional development opportunities for legislative security, services and capitol tour personnel. Register Online
Online registration is required.  A credit card is necessary for everyone except legislators and legislative staff. Confirmations will be sent by email. 

Registration is open and you may register online now. 

Spouse/Guest Registration. Payment of the guest registration fee permits a spouse or guest to attend all scheduled meal functions and evening social events.

Cancellations received in the NCSL Denver office by Friday, Aug. 19, 2022, will be refunded minus a $50 processing fee. Cancellations must be made in writing and emailed to NCSL Registration/Accounting. Fees cannot be refunded for registrations cancelled after the conference begins.

Hotel Information

Each attendee is responsible for making his or her hotel and travel arrangements.

The main conference hotel is the Revere Hotel Boston Commons (200 Stuart St., Boston, MA, 02116 | 617-482-1800).

The deadline to make hotel reservations for the discounted group rate was Wednesday, July 27, 2022

Hotel Reservation Cancellation Policy: To avoid a cancellation charge, reservations must be cancelled 48 hours prior to the day of arrival.

Travel Information

Each attendee is responsible for making his or her own travel arrangements.

The closest major airport is Boston Logan International Airport (BOS). This airport is 3.6 miles (about 15 minutes) from the Revere Hotel.

The Revere Hotel Boston Common is within walking distance of the Back Bay Station with MBTA commuter rail.

Business casual attire is appropriate for all seminar events. Dressing in layers will allow you to make adjustments as needed. August weather in Boston typically is warm, with average daytime temperatures in the 80s Fahrenheit and overnight temperatures in the mid-60s.
