The National Legislative Services and Security Association (NLSSA) hosts the only national training event designed exclusively for legislative staff who work in the areas of security, administrative services and tourism management.

The 2021 NLSSA Annual Training Conference will be held Aug. 23-27, 2021, in Helena, Mont. This seminar offers professional development opportunities for legislative services and security personnel. Participate in informative presentations and engage in roundtable discussions with colleagues working on similar issues. Learn new approaches, share ideas and network with your peers from other states.

Register Onsite
Registration is closed online. If you can't make the registration cut-off, onsite registration will be available at the Best Western Premier Great Northern Hotel beginning Monday, Aug. 23, 2021.

Spouse/Guest Registration
The ($200) guest fee includes admission to all scheduled meal functions and evening social events.

Cancellations received in the NCSL Denver office by Sunday, Aug. 22, 2021, will be refunded minus a $50 processing fee. Cancellations must be made in writing and faxed to (303) 856-2523 or e-mailed to NCSL Registration/Accounting. Fees cannot be refunded for registrations cancelled after the conference begins.

Second Conference Hotel
We suggest you make a reservation at the La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Helena (701 Washington St, Helena, Mont.). To make a reservation at the La Quinta Inn & Suites, please call the hotel directly at 406-204-3934. 

During the conference, shuttle service from the La Quinta to the Best Western Premier Great Northern will be provided prior to each day's first session and following each day's last session.

Business casual attire is appropriate for all seminar events. Dressing in layers will allow you to make adjustments for your comfort. August weather in Helena typically is warm, with average daytime temperatures in the 80s and overnight temperatures in the 50s.
