Registration fees are:
- Legislative staff: $300
- Spouse/guest: $150
- All others: $350

Registration online requires a credit card for everyone except legislators and legislative staff. Confirmations will be sent by e-mail, and meeting materials will be mailed.
- Fax the registration form to 303.364.7811
- Onsite Registration
If you are unable to meet the Sept. 12, 2011, registration deadline, register onsite at the Silver Legacy Resort Casino.
Spouse/Guest Registration. The $150 fee includes admission to all scheduled meal functions, evening social events and planned guest activities.
Cancellations received in the NCSL Denver office by September 30 will be refunded minus a $50 processing fee. Cancellations must be made in writing and faxed to 303.364.7811. Fees cannot be refunded for registrations cancelled after the conference begins.
Confirmations will be e-mailed if an address is provided. Letter confirmations will be mailed upon request.
General Information
The NLSSA Fall Training Conference is a relaxed learning experience; business casual attire is recommended for most events. NLSSA members like to dress up for the State Dinner; attire for that event is semi-formal and varies from cocktail to evening wear. Fall temperatures avergage a high of 80° and low of 49°. Be sure to bring a sweater or light jacket; evenings and meeting rooms may be cool.

Located in the heart of downtown Denver’s business district, the Magnolia Hotel is close to the 16th Street pedestrian mall, dining, shopping, nightlife, and sports and entertainment venues. The hotel offers comfort, personality and style. Guest amenities include free high-speed wireless Internet; 24-hour fitness center; and complimentary hot breakfast buffet.
Please make your hotel reservations directly with the hotel by calling toll-free, 888.915.1110. Indicate that you are attending the “NCSL Fall Conference” to receive a room rate of $141 single/double, plus tax, per night. Reservations must be held by credit card. The deadline for making hotel reservations is August 19, 2011, or until sold out, whichever comes first. After that date, reservations will be accepted at the seminar rate based on room availability.

TRAVEL INFORMATION
Denver is served by the Denver International Airport. Reservations must be made a least 7 days in advance, but make arrangements early for the best rates.

The host state will not provide transportation from the airport to the hotel; however, DIA Supershuttles run regularly.
Ground Transportation
Denver International Airport is located 24 miles northeast of downtown Denver. The hotel does not provide airport shuttle service; however, a number of ground transportation options are available, including commuter shuttles, taxis, limousines, and public transportation. City Information
Once you are in the downtown area, great restaurants, shopping and entertainment venues are within walking distance of the hotel or via the free 16th Street Mall shuttle.
