The Past Meets the Future: Digitizing 150 Years of the Chicago Tribune
This overwhelming project, to digitize the news archive of the Chicago Tribune into a full text and image database utilizing the latest available technologies, is creating a priceless resource for scholars and researchers. This session gives an overview of the methods and technologies applied, and the dissemination of the product to the community of potential users.
