Concerning the repeal of the casino exemption from the "Colorado Clean Indoor Air Act".
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Colorado:
SECTION 1. Repeal. 25-14-205 (1) (j), Colorado Revised Statutes, is repealed as follows:
25-14-205. Exceptions to smoking restrictions. (1) This part 2 shall not apply to:
(j) The retail floor plan, as defined in section 12-47.1-509, C.R.S., of a licensed casino.
SECTION 2. Effective date. This act shall take effect at 8 a.m. on January 1, 2008.
SECTION 3. Safety clause. The general assembly hereby finds, determines, and declares that this act is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, and safety.
