Register online
Registration online requires a credit card for everyone except legislators and legislative staff. Confirmations will be sent by e-mail, and meeting materials will be mailed.

Onsite Registration
You can register at the DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel-Austin.
Cancelations received in the NCSL Denver office by Sept. 20, 2013 will be refunded minus a $50 processing fee. Cancelations must be made in writing and faxed to 303.364.7811. Fees cannot be refunded for registrations canceled after the conference begins.
Confirmations will be e-mailed if an address is provided. Letter confirmations will be mailed upon request.

Each attendee is responsible for making his or her hotel and travel arrangements. When arranging hotel accommodations, please indicate that you are attending the NCSL conference to receive the negotiated rate of $174 per night (plus tax). Reservations must be held by one night room deposit (major credit card guarantee is acceptable). The cut-off date for the negotiated rate is Aug. 30, 2013.

TRAVEL INFORMATION
Air Travel
Austin is served by the Austin Bergstrom International Airport (AUS). To make flight reservations, call Christopherson Travel, the official travel agency of NCSL, at:

Airline reservations should be made at least seven days in advance. Christopherson Travel maintains a 24-hour toll-free line for changes and emergencies.
Ground Transportation
Shuttle service is available from the airport to the hotel through SuperShuttle / 1-800-BLUE VAN (258-3826).
The MetroAirport bus provides service into downtown Austin. The $1 bus fare takes you between the airport and downtown every 30 minutes on the hour and half hour.
Cabs also are available; fares are approximately $30 one way.

City Information
Situated in central Texas, Austin is the state's capital and fourth largest city. It is renowned for its music; in fact, Austin's official slogan is The Live Music Capital of the World.
