NCSL is excited to announce the Staff Hub ATL 2020!

Join your colleagues in Atlanta Oct. 7-9, 2020, for a collective gathering of legislative staff. During this meeting six of NCSL’s professional staff associations will gather, creating a dynamic atmosphere for learning, collaborating and networking. Over the course of three days, you will sharpen your skills and explore a wide variety of topics including research, evaluation, fiscal analysis, communications, bill drafting, editing, leadership and soft skill development. This professional development seminar is designed specifically FOR legislative staff BY legislative staff

  • Leadership Staff Professional Association (LSPA)
  • Legislative Research Librarians (LRL)
  • Legislative Information and Communications Staff (LINCS)
  • National Legislative Program Evaluation Society (NLPES)
  • National Association of Legislative Fiscal Offices (NALFO)
  • Research, Editorial, Legal and Committee Staff (RELACS)

This meeting is meant to foster cross-pollination and shared learning between professional staff associations, increase overall attendance at a staff-focused meeting, learn about different staff functions and staff roles in the legislature and increase synergy among the participating associations

Registration

Registration Information Registration fees are:

Legislative staff: $400
Host state discount (Georgia): $325
Daily Fee: $275
Spouse/guest: $200

Two ways to register:

Register Online: Coming in mid-May
Requires a credit card for everyone except legislators and legislative staff. Confirmations will be sent by email. 

Onsite Registration
If you can't make the  registration cut-off, onsite registration will be available at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta beginning October 6th.

Spouse/Guest Registration. The ($200) guest fee includes admission to all scheduled meal functions and evening social events.

Registration Coming Mid-May

Cancellations received in the NCSL Denver office by TBD, will be refunded minus a $50 processing fee. Cancellations must be made in writing and faxed to 303-364-7811. Fees cannot be refunded for registrations cancelled after the conference begins.

Hotel InformationPlease make your hotel reservations for Staff Hub ATL 2020 at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta by Sept. 15, 2020. After that date, our room rate of $189/ night plus tax cannot be guaranteed.

Ground Travel Information

Hyatt Regency Atlanta is easily accessible to the World’s Busiest Airport. Hartsfield-Jackson is about a 20-minute ride by car (depending on traffic and time of day), and rental cars, taxis and shared ride services are easily available from the airport.

Public Transportation
Atlanta’s MARTA transit system runs to and from Hartsfield-Jackson Airport. Fares are $2.50 each way. From the airport, Hyatt Regency Atlanta guests can board any Northbound trains and Exit at the Peachtree Center Station. The Peachtree Center Station is connected to our hotel through the Peachtree Center Mall.
