Values and Leadership

Thursday, Sept. 24, 2020
Noon PT / 1 p.m. MT / 2 p.m. CT / 3 p.m. ET

Have you ever stopped to think about what your core values are? Values are the bedrock of our behavior; they help us communicate with others and can shape our decisions. BrenĂ© Brown, bestselling author and research professor at the University of Houston, defines a value in her book “Dare to Lead” as “a way of being or believing that we hold most important.” In this fun and interactive 45-minute training session, you’ll discover your values and identify how COVID-19 may have changed your priorities. We’ll discuss how to identify what is working in your life, and what isn’t, as it relates to your values. You’ll get to know your colleagues from other states and possibly discover something new about yourself.

Space is limited to 50 attendees. If there is more interest than space available in the training, a second session may be offered at a different time.

Training provided by Sheron Violini, California Senate, credentialed by the International Coaching Federation ACC.
