The National Association of Legislative Information Technology (NALIT) Professional Development Seminar (PDS) brings together state legislative information technology professionals who are interested in advancing the effectiveness and efficiency of state legislatures through technology. The seminar provides a combination of educational sessions, demonstrations and vendor exhibits, and networking opportunities.
The agenda offers a mix of technical, policy and management sessions and provides opportunities to share solutions and discuss innovative uses of technology. Speakers combine the knowledge of industry experts and the experience and expertise of legislative information technology staff. Integral to the seminar is the opportunity to compare experiences in roundtable sessions and small group discussions.
Registration fees are:
Early bird rate for legislative staff (through Aug. 15): $375
Post early bird rate for legislative staff: $400

One day: $175
All others-early bird rate (through Aug. 15): $450
All others-post early bird rate: $475
Two ways to register:
Requires a credit card for everyone except legislators and legislative staff. Confirmations will be sent by email. Deadline to register online is Aug. 26.
Onsite Registration. If you can't meet the pre-registration deadline, onsite registration will be available at Indianapolis Hilton Hotel & Suites beginning Sept. 12.
Spouse/Guest Registration. The ($150) guest fee includes admission to all scheduled meal functions and evening social events. In addition, this year, the host state is planning a special program for registered guests.
Cancellations received in the NCSL Denver office by Sept. 11 will be refunded minus a $50 processing fee. Cancellations must be made in writing and faxed to 303-364-7811. Fees cannot be refunded for registrations cancelled after the conference begins.
Please make your hotel reservations for the PDS at the Indianapolis Hilton Hotel & Suites by Aug. 15. After that date, or when all rooms in the room block are sold (whichever comes first) our room rate cannot be guaranteed.
