The National Association of Legislative Information Technology (NALIT) Professional Development Seminar brings together state legislative information technology professionals who are interested in advancing the effectiveness and efficiency of state legislatures through technology. The seminar provides a combination of educational sessions, demonstrations and vendor exhibits, and networking opportunities.
The agenda offers a mix of technical, policy and management sessions and provides opportunities to share solutions and discuss innovative uses of technology. Speakers combine the knowledge of industry experts and the experience and expertise of legislative information technology staff. Integral to the seminar is the opportunity to compare experiences in roundtable sessions and small group discussions.
Registration
Registration fees are:
Early Bird (through Sept. 1 - extended to Sept. 9): $350
Post early bird rate–legislative staff: $375
Spouse/guest: $150
Host state: (California Legislature--Please contact Pam Greenberg for information on how to register)
All others: $450
Two ways to register:
1. Register Online
Requires a credit card for everyone except legislators and legislative staff. Confirmations will be sent by email. Deadline to register online is Sept. 18.
2. Onsite Registration
If you can't make the registration cut-off, onsite registration will be available at the Citizen Hotel beginning on Sept. 29.
Spouse/Guest Registration. The $150 guest fee includes admission to all scheduled meal functions and evening social events.
Cancellations received in the NCSL Denver office by Sept. 28 will be refunded minus a $50 processing fee. Cancellations must be made in writing and faxed to 303-364-7811. Fees cannot be refunded for registrations cancelled after the conference begins.
Hotel Information
The seminar will be held at the Citizen Hotel (some sessions or events may be held at other locations where specified). The Citizen Hotel, located in downtown Sacramento, has a unique combination of historic charm and sleek modern amenities. The hotel is located just a few blocks from the State Capitol and is close to restaurants, entertainment and shopping.
Please make your hotel reservations for the seminar at the Citizen Hotel by Friday, Sept. 4, 2015. After that date, or after the room block is sold out, whichever comes first, our room rate cannot be guaranteed. NOTE: The NALIT room block at the Citizen Hotel is sold out for some of the dates of the seminar. Please contact Pam Greenberg for information about possible alternative hotels.
