ASLCS Boise Agenda
This year the American Society of Legislative Clerks and Secretaries (ASLCS) will hold its 50th Annual Professional Development Seminar in Boise, Idaho! The ASLCS seminar is the premier training opportunity that brings together participants from across the country and internationally to learn important skills and procedures, build relationships and bring home new tools and ideas aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of America’s state legislatures. This year’s seminar offers plenary sessions, concurrent workshops, breakout sessions for principals and associates, and meetings of the standing committees, special committees and Mason’s Manual. In addition to the professional development sessions, our hosts in Idaho have planned an array of social events (including a visit to Boise State University’s famed “smurf turf”) that will allow attendees to network with their counterparts in other states, while experiencing the hospitality and charm of Boise.
