Old Business

2011 Joint Canadian-American Meeting:

In answer to a question that was raised during the last conference call regarding NCSL liability insurance coverage for this meeting, NCSL agrees that its liability insurance will cover us for the Joint Meeting to the same extent as it would for any PDS. Pat Harris will need to work with Angela regarding any events/meetings outside the actual meeting venue that would need to be added for the insurance coverage.

Pat was successful regarding the three items he was asked to renegotiate with the hotel. The room block was reduced to 65 per night, the attrition threshold was changed to 80%, and the reservation cut-off date was moved closer to the date of the meeting.

George Bishop moved, seconded by Nathan Hatfield, to accept the Memorandum of Agreement and authorize President Marchant to sign it, as well as authorizing him to sign the contract with the Renaissance Montgomery Hotel & Spa. Unanimously adopted.

Upon a motion by Karen Wadsworth, seconded by Terry Spieler, the conference call meeting was adjourned at 3:15 pm..

Respectfully submitted,

Karen Wadsworth (NH)
