November Unemployment: Stable in 35 States
Unemployment rates in November were stable in 35 states, higher in 12, and lower in 3 states and the District of Columbia according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Thirty-six states and the District had jobless rate decreases from a year earlier. The national unemployment remained unchanged at 3.7%, but was still 0.5 points lower than in November 2021.
