This invitational workshop brings together state legislative staff to learn about disease forecasting models and outbreak analytics used during disease outbreaks. The workshop will help legislative staff build capacity to use models and analytics in their work, and build a network of peers, stakeholders and resources to utilize during disease outbreaks. Promising state strategies to address disease outbreaks will also be presented, and legislative staff and other stakeholders will have an opportunity to share experiences, lessons learned and best practices.
