Questions and Answers

Aug. 1-3, 2022, at the Colorado Convention Center, 700 14th St., Denver. ;

State legislators, legislative staff, Foundation sponsors, government officials, business representatives, educators and others interested in public policy.

Business casual is the norm for the Legislative Summit. We suggest bringing a light sweater or jacket with you during the day as the rooms are air-conditioned.

The health and safety of meeting attendees is NCSL’s top priority. Attendees are encouraged to familiarize themselves with COVID-19 guidance provided by the CDC and the appropriate state and local public health authorities in areas they are traveling. By attending an NCSL meeting, you agree to follow any onsite health and safety protocols recommended by NCSL, the venue, and local and state governments. Currently, there is not a mask requirement in Denver and NCSL will not require proof of vaccinations or negative tests. NCSL will have disposable masks and hand sanitizer available for attendees.

Sunday, July 31. To attend, please plan to arrive on Saturday, July 30.

States' Night, on Tuesday, Aug. 2, is an opportunity for delegates from each state to discuss the Summit and explore Denver. All events are coordinated by state delegations. Please let us know if your state has organized an event.

Attendees requiring assistance with child care should contact their hotel concierge. There will not be a separate youth program with child care.

Any meetings held during the official hours of the Summit must be approved by NCSL in advance. Events held after normal event hours do not require permission, but NCSL asks to be notified so we can help delegates looking for your event. Please contact us with details about your event.

If you need special accommodations to ensure your complete participation, please contact us.

Denver really is a mile high, but most people don’t even notice the altitude difference. The air is just thinner and dryer. Follow these tips to stay happy and healthy during your visit to Denver: drink plenty of water before your trip and while you’re here, limit your alcohol intake, give your body 24 hours to adjust prior to doing any strenuous exercise, and pack your sunscreen, lip balm and sunglasses!

Please email us so we can assist you!

NCSL is in the process of applying for CLE accreditation with the Colorado Supreme Court. We will have a list of which sessions qualify for CLE by July, and will post them on the agenda.
