NCSL's Energy Supply Task Force met Dec. 2-3 in Denver to learn and share expertise around planning for the future of the North American energy system. The visit included a tour of the National Renewable Energy Laboratory's Energy Systems Integration Facility.

Focal points of the visit include energy storage, grid resilience, data center energy planning, alternative transportation/aviation fuels.

Data Centers and their Impacts on American Energy

This session seeks to examine the unique issues created by the construction and operation of data centers and how they can be successfully addressed. These issues include power generation, power transmission, rate impacts on local communities, colocation, and more.

Improving Grid Resilience
