What’s in your jar? Getting more done with greater satisfaction

Are you busy all day (all week?) and yet still feel frustrated that you aren’t making enough progress on the right things? This series of interactive workshops will provide you with techniques and strategies so that you can accomplish more of the right things with your time and have greater satisfaction with your day. Learn to clarify and rank priorities, set meaningful goals, process your inbox more effectively, and create habits to stay on track.

  • Recognize the costs of multitasking.
  • Discover a method for increasing your focus.
  • Explore techniques to create focus time and defend it.

Wed. July 13: Developing effective goals and habits

  • Develop SMART goals.
  • Leverage the 1% difference.
  • Use the power of habit to achieve your goals.

Jennifer Lazarow, University of Texas at Austin, Center for Professional Education

Jennifer Lazarow facilitates informative and interactive classes, drawing from more than 20 years’ experience in training and human resource development. Before joining the Center for Professional Education, Lazarow was the manager and producer for a training video production company, training manager for an international gaming corporation, and assistant training director for a top 10 financial services corporation. Lazarow has also served as a volunteer coordinator/trainer for a state-wide suicide prevention and crisis intervention hotline, and a college professor.
