Many people yearn to be creative, but they still follow a prescribed path out of habit or fear. They’re afraid they’ll be rejected, or that their best work is behind them. Creativity seems too risky. But most of us are looking for ways to infuse more creativity into our lives. Sometimes we just lack the courage to dive in.

As an artist with a background in business, Tricia Rose Burt has worked with Fortune 500 companies and leaders across industries, blending her experiences and galvanizing audiences to step into their creative selves—so they can reinvent, adapt and develop new solutions both at home and at work. And just in time, too. Studies show the older we get, the more fixed we get in our mindsets. We become less expansive and our worlds get smaller. The solution? Take more risks!

In this session, we’ll use the “No Time to Be Timid” manifesto as a powerful framework to awaken our creativity and boldness. We’ll explore ways we can start to think differently and more expansively. And we’ll learn the value of play over practicality, embrace the gift of constraints, and open the door to curiosity. Participants will leave entertained, inspired and armed with guidelines on how to step off the expected path and create rich personal and professional experiences.
