  • Below are recommendations for cost-effective routes from Newark Liberty International Airport to the Nassau Inn: 

From Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR): 

NJ Transit Train: 

  • AirTrain to Newark Liberty International Airport Station (NJ Transit): AirTrain connects NJ Transit and Amtrak with Newark Liberty International Airport. Begin by taking the AirTrain from your terminal to the Newark Liberty International Airport Station. 
  • Newark Liberty International Airport Station (NJ Transit) to Princeton Junction: Purchase a ticket to Princeton/Princeton Station and board the NJ Transit Northeast Corridor Line train (NEC 3937) heading toward Trenton Transit Center.  
  • "Dinky" Train to Princeton: At Princeton Junction, transfer to the Princeton Branch train and board the Train (PRIN 4155), commonly known as the "Dinky," which will take you directly to Princeton Station. 
  • Walk to Nassau Inn: From Princeton Station, the Nassau Inn is approximately a 15-minute walk or 5-minute drive. 

Estimated Travel Time: Approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. 
Estimated Cost: Around $24 NJ Transit Ticket (one-way trip) + $15 for Rideshare Service (Princeton Station to/from Nassau Inn).

Additional Transportation Options: 

  • Shuttle Services: Several shuttle services offer transportation between these airports and Princeton. For example, ETS Airport Shuttle provides shared shuttle services from Newark Airport to Princeton.  
  • Rideshare Services: Services like Uber and Lyft operate from the airport to Princeton. From Newark Airport, an UberX to Nassau Inn averages around $95. 
  • Taxis: Taxis are available at the airport; however, they can be more expensive than public transportation or rideshare options.

  • Plan: Review schedules and fares before your trip, as they are subject to change. 
  • Ticket Purchases: Tickets for NJ Transit can be purchased at stations or via their respective mobile apps/website: https://www.njtransit.com/.  
  • Luggage Considerations: Public transportation options may involve transfers and walking; consider this when managing luggage.

  • All meeting sessions are for registered attendees only. There is a separate fee for guests to attend any social events.

  • Bill to State: Please note you must use Chrome or Firefox to access the Bill to State webpage. You must log in to the NCSL site. Then, click Register Now below. Select the ticket type, State Legislative Staff for example, then select the yellow link inside that field. On the next page, you may choose yourself from the list of legislative staff in your state and fill out the billing information. Then click “Register selected contacts” from the top of the page. If no list appears, please clear your cache and log in again. 

Cancellations must be emailed to [email protected] by Oct 1, 2025. Fees cannot be refunded for registrations canceled after the conference begins.
